IN THIS LESSON
Clean up your wheel or table area, tools, etc. thoroughly.
ALL clay scraps, slop, trimmings etc. go into the reclaim buckets in the rear corner of the studio or into your own reclaim system. Please keep your own reclaim system at home.
Use the grey sink the studio to rinse all tools, hands, buckets, etc. after putting scraps in reclaim.
All glaze water, scraps, crumbs etc. go into the rinse bucket near the printing press. No glaze is to go down the sink or into reclaim.
Final cleaning may happen in the mop sink, with no chunks of clay or glaze sludge down the sink.
Never use the bathroom sink for any clay or glaze cleanup.
Never sweep in the pottery studio to avoid airborne hazards.
