Grizzly 15” Bandsaw
Wood Shop
This is an odd little bandsaw. It’s not a standard 14” for detailed work, but it’s not a 17” re-sawing bandsaw either. It’s kind of best of both worlds. You can use a narrow blade on it to get fine detailed work, and you can also use a thicker blade to cut some decent thicknesses. And at 15” it’s got a little bit of extra space compared to your standard 14” bandsaw.

Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection when operating.
Turn on Dust Collection System.
Verify correct blade is installed based on the material you are cutting. Do not cut steel or other hard metals with this saw. Ask for assistance for changing the blade.
Adjust angle of table as needed. Only make adjustments when power is off and machine is not moving. Never touch the blade when plugged in.
Line up your cut and verify it’s secure and against the fence. Verify you can hold your piece without putting your hands in the blade zone. Only cut one piece at a time. Do not cut pieces smaller than 3” wide. Do not cut through wood knots, splits, or other defects. Do not cut circular objects on this saw if they do not have a flat surface on the table.
Lower blade support to expose as little blade as possible based on the material you are cutting. Adjust speed if necessary. Verify belt is properly tensioned.
Allow motor to reach full speed before cutting.
Cut slowly and smoothly, keeping your hands and sleeves away from blade at all times.
Wait for the saw to stop moving completely and remove hand from trigger before removing material.
