Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection when operating.
Avoid loose clothing, jewelry or anything that could get caught in the machine.
Be cautious when handling sharp needles.
Ensure the surface to be tufted is clean, flat, and securely anchored.
Stretch and secure base material to prevent wrinkles.
Load the tufting machine with either yarn or thread, ensuring it is threaded through the needle.
Set the pile height and density according to the desired tufting outcome.
Adjust speed settings based on the material and pattern complexity.
Hold the tufting machine perpendicular to the surface.
Press and hold the trigger to insert the yarn into the base material.
Move the machine in the desired pattern, following guidelines or templates if applicable.
Secure loose ends by knotting, trim excess yarn.
Put away tools and clean any debris after use.
