Dremel Mini Table Saw
Wood Shop
This table saw should only be used for very small items that you cannot use our SawStop for. Even though it’s a lot smaller than our SawStop, it still is just as dangerous, if not more so. That being said, it’s a great little saw for basswood and model-building projects.
Specifications:
Wood Only
Blade Size: 4”
Use & Safety Checklist:
Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection when operating. Never wear gloves or long sleeves when operating. Secure any loose jewelry, long hair, hoodie strings, and other dangling objects.
This is not our SawStop. Be extremely careful when cutting with this saw. It does not have the same safety features that the SawStop has. Do not be fooled by the size of this saw, it can still do a lot of damage.
Verify correct blade is installed based on the material you are cutting. Do not cut steel or other hard metals with this saw. Verify blade rotates in the correct direction. Do not use without Blade Guard or riving knife installed. Ask for assistance for changing the blade.
Locate emergency stop button prior to starting.
Adjust angle of blade as needed. Only make adjustments when power is off and machine is not moving. Never touch the blade when plugged in.
Clear the work area of debris, obstructions, or tripping hazards. Ensure adequate lighting and ventilation. Make sure no one is in the way of the saw or standing directly behind it.
Line up your cut and use push sticks or push blocks. Verify it’s secure and against the fence. Verify you can hold your piece without putting your hands in the blade zone. Only cut one piece at a time. Do not cut pieces smaller than 8” long. Do not cut through wood knots, splits, or other defects. Verify that the fence is aligned parallel to the blade for accurate and safe cuts.
Use a sled for cross cuts.
Stand in a stable position with feet shoulder-width apart while operating the table saw. Never stand directly in line with the blade.
Adjust the blade height to just clear the material being cut to minimize exposure and reduce the risk of injury.
Avoid taking off too much material in a single pass. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for maximum depth of cut.
Allow motor to reach full speed before cutting.
Cut slowly and smoothly, keeping your hands and sleeves away from blade at all times.
Wait for the saw to stop moving completely and remove hand from trigger before removing material. Push material all the way through the full length of the blade before letting go of material.
Clear any debris or sawdust from the table after use.
