Use & Safety Checklist:
Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection when operating.
Avoid loose clothing, jewelry or anything that could get caught in the machine.
Don’t cut metal on this saw.
Adjust angle of blade as needed. If cutting at an angle, remove tall aluminum fence prior to cutting. Only make adjustments when power is off and machine is not moving. Never touch the blade when saw is plugged in.
Line up your cut and clamp down your material. Verify it’s secure and against the fence. Verify you can hold your piece without putting your hands in the blade zone. Only cut one piece at a time. Do not cut pieces smaller than 4” long. Do not cut through wood knots, splits, or other defects.
When ready, grab handle firmly, pull trigger, and allow motor to reach full speed before cutting. Never start with blade touching the material.
Cut slowly and smoothly, keeping your hands away from blade at all times. Keep your body to the side of the blade, and do not overreach when cutting. Maintain proper balance.
Wait for the saw to stop moving completely and remove hand from trigger before removing material.
